In this class we will explore the lunar cycle through creating art. In this class we will be drawing cards from my oracle card collection that focuses on the animal for the year. Following the card pull we will use the energy of the card as inspiration to create a painting. Like the intuitive paint pouring class we will be starting with a blank canvas. Students will be able to write affirmations, symbols, and anything else they feel called to put on the canvas. We will follow this with a paint pour technique I have chosen that represents the energy of the animal for the lunar new year. This workshop is divided into three classes. Class one focuses on the card pull, adding to the canvas (before the pour) and the paint pour. In class two we will be adding whatever you feel called to add. Class three we will be adding the stones and pouring the resin.
This year we we will be exploring the the year of the Fire horse. The fire horse is all about movement and freedom. The creation of the painting will serve as powerful anchor of this energy.
