The creator and the creation are one
I am the universe exploding

Fifteen billion years ago in the studio of eternity, before the beginning, in the studio of eternity there was a blank canvas. Nothingness. Pregnant with the possibility of everything. Then , a miracle, our collective being, the divine artist, Creator (God), aching to express to exist, exploded itself, (ourself) into a cascade of light cells. A cosmic orgasm big banged us into creation. Perfect in ratios, rhythms and forms, the universe is a storm of light emerging.
---David Starfire (The one)

This is the last painting in my birth of the universe series. After the explosion of life everything organized itself into perfect symmetry and beauty. From the smallest atom to the largest planet in our solar system, everything fits together into a rich tapestry of energy in motion. The most amazing part of this is that we are a part of all of it and at the same time we are the singularity. We each sing our individual notes and yet we are the cosmic symphony of light, vibration, and sound. We are spiders on the cosmic web, and we are the web itself.
Ever since I can remember ( probably first or second grade, whenever I learned about the nothingness of space) I have been obsessed with the concept of something from nothing. I always wanted to know how this was possible and more importantly, why. Since then, I have learned a lot of how’s but I, like many others are still searching for the answer to why. I have found that spirituality and eastern philosophy offer a very compelling and believable answer to the why.
As with all of my paintings, I have added several symbols. In the center of the painting is the spider nebula. This represents all of creation. In the body of the spider, I have written out the DNA protein sequence. The center of the body is a black hole represented by my symbol, infinite universe. This is my representation of the Einstein/Rosen bridge, which is the combination of a white and black hole. In the center is the singularity, represented by phi (the golden ratio). Information crosses the event horizon and flow through phi to be reorganized and exit through the white hole. I believe this is how nothing can be created or destroyed. Everything is energy in a constant feedback loop of disappearing and re-emerging in another form. The symbol in the upper left corner is an adinkra symbol. This symbol represents energy. In the right upper corner is another symbol I channeled, Illumination. This is our central sun ( a Fibonacci spiral with rays). In the lower right corner are the Greek letters phi, and Mu. They combine to spell OM the first breath of the universe. This is the vibration or sound that breathed the universe into existence. The sound of the big bang that sent ripples of vibrating energy out into the empty space of the universe. The last symbol (right lower corner) is the flower of life, or the blueprint of our universe. This pattern represents the evolution of spirit from a single point in space to symphony of creation that we are a part of.
I have also included stones in this painting ( carborundum, azurite, labradorite, auralite, apophyllite, and petrified wood). These will be explained in the appendix. I added a coat of resin for protection .  I also used a combination of sand, acrylic, watercolor, and glow in the dark acrylic. Yes, this painting glows in the dark. A UV black light flashlight is included with the original painting. Samples of the stones are included with the original and prints. I am also including a copy of the poem I wrote, which this painting and all others in the series are inspired by. Thank you for supporting my art
