The creator and the creation are one
This painting is based on the flower of life. This sacred geometric shape is literally the blueprint of the universe. It is found everywhere in nature and is the main component of Metartron’s cube. At conception our cells divide in this pattern. If you perform a cross section of our DNA you will find this pattern. The flower of life is visual representation of the creation story. In the blackness of space there was a singularity, or spirit. This is the first circle. Spirit had no reference point and wished to know itself. So it created a second circle to create duality. This formed another critical shape called the vesic of pisces. This became the first petal in the flower. As spirit continued to create fractals of itself it did so in a circular pattern the first seven circles formed a beautiful flower in the middle. This represents the first seven days of creation. As this seed continued to grow throughout space, infinite fractals of the first flower were created.
In this painting I added several symbols that I have used in other paintings. Around the outer circle I wrote a mantra that is used in in kundalini yoga. When I chant this mantra it reminds me of the initial explosion of the singularity of spirit and the expansion of consciousness and life that followed. The full chant is “Ek Ong karr ( The creator and the creation are one) sat nam (this is our true identity) sidhi, wahe guru.” (the ecstasy of this is beyond all words and brings indescribable bliss). I chant this just about every morning. I can literally feel the creation of the universe every time I do it. It connects you to source energy through the power of sound and vibration. This is what created the universe and all it contains. The word of god in the bible can be described in this way. A word is a sound and can be reduced to its essence, a vibration. The word of god was the vibration of the singularity exploding. This reverberated throughout the cosmos creating fractals of the One.
Surrounding the inner circle are all the zodiac signs with their corresponding constellations and planetary signs. The next circle contains symbols I have used in other paintings. The next circle is our own DNA sequence represented by the letter A, T, C and G. These are the proteins that are the building blocks of our DNA chain. In the center is the flower of life. Inside the flower I placed the seven notes of the musical scale. These are the first seven notes of creation. Music is mathematics translated into sound. The universe was created with mathematical precision using geometric patterns.
In the four corners of the painting from left to right and top to bottom I added the symbol for pi, the adinkra symbol for love (heart chakra), infinity of spirit (one of my own symbols), and infinite universe (another of my own symbols that I channeled) . As always a I added stones and covered the painting in resin. In this painting I used petrified wood and a mix of chakra stones. I also used colored sand for the borders around the flower of life pattern. This painting also glows in the dark.
