HAPPY NEW YEAR
It's been another great year. Looking forward to 2026. I have a lot of new projects and paintings coming. Thank you for supporting my art and if you have attended any of my classes thank you for that too. Hope to see you at a class this year. I have an amazing line up and I will be featuring a class every two months. As always you can book a private session or a small group. My classes are an excellent activity birthday parties. I will be kicking off the season with my yearly Lunar new year painting class. This year is the year is the year of the fire horse.
This year I decided to participate again in the global roots mural mosaic project. This project is open to anyone all you have to do is purchase a kit. They provide all the materials. you keep the tile and send them a JPEG image for the mural. Your image will be reproduced on a high quality aluminum composite and then placed in the mural. The location of the mural will be announced once all the tiles have been received. You still have time to be a part of this project. The deadline is January 31.
This painting will also be available on my website when finished. I will be adding stones and resin. I feel like this painting is the perfect kick off for the year of the fire horse. This year is all about momentum and moving forward. The fire horse is the perfect symbol for this energy. I created this painting to represent the union of three powerful energies in my field, the horse, dragonfly, and the spider. My spirit animal is the spider. In this painting it is represented by the spider nebula in the upper right corner. The spider symbolizes creativity, conscious manifestation, and sensing beyond the veil. The spider also represents grace in the midst of chaos. It also represents being a weaver of timelines, both personally and collectively. Every spirit animal has a counterbalancing energy. Mine is the horse. For me this represents movement and action. This balances my creative intuitive energy to help me bring my my creative ideas and intentions into the physical realm. I find it interesting that this happens to be the year of the horse. To me this means I will be able to ride this fire energy and breathe life into my projects and ideas. I feel like this will be the year that I begin to see some tangible results in a lasting and profound way. The spider is moon ( feminine) energy, creative and flowing. The horse is the sun (masculine) action energy. These two energies combined create a powerful manifestation current. The dragonfly is also a predominant energy in my field. I see them everywhere. They even follow me around. I had one land on me once to help me through a tough experience. We locked eyes and it would not leave until it knew I had settled back into coherence. The dragonfly is a master of light and movement. It moves through density with lightness and trusts the process without the need to control. I have seen all of this as a running theme throughout my life. My intentions will manifest without fail as long as I can ground my visions with inspired action and learn to trust the process without controlling the outcome.
