I just started my lunar new year painting. This year is the year of the horse. While last year was the year of the snake and all about transformation, this year is all about freedom and movement. Now that we have shed a lot of our shadow and things that are holding us back, it is time to move forward in our new found freedom. What dreams and goals have you buried under your trauma and the weight of the world? Now it is time to use the energy of the fire horse to fuel your passion and purpose. This painting is a representation of my own integration and shadow work. Every spirit animal has a counterbalancing energy. This is the equivalent of yin and yang. The universe is all about balance and harmony. The opposite or counterbalancing energy is there to compliment the main energy that is present. My spirit animal is the spider. The spider is all about weaving manifestations into reality, conscious manifestation, sensing beyond the veil, and navigating chaos with grace. The spider is a divine feminine energy. My counterbalancing energy is the horse. The horse is a divine masculine energy. It is about movement and freedom. The spider's message is about anchoring and weaving. The horse says run and express. For me this is very significant because 2026 is the year of the Fire horse. I am being called to take my intentions and dreams and bring them into reality through authentic expression. This is the year I am launching all that I have been building over the last three years. This years lunar new year class is the launching pad. Come join me on Tuesday February 18th at 6 pm.
